70 RESEARCHERS VISITING LIFE RISORGIVE RESURGENCE
On March 14 2018, LIFE RISORGIVE welcomed a group of 70 researchers from all over Europe, to guide them through the discovery and knowledge of the resurgences in the Municipality of Bressanvido, and the interventions for their valorization and conservation included in the project.
The visit took place in the afternoon, where technicians and professionals of the sector illustrated the areas, explaining the importance and the environmental characteristics, as well as the valorization strategy undertaken by LIFE RISORGIVE.
The initiative is part of the COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) program, which allows European researchers to jointly develop ideas and initiatives in all scientific disciplines through a trans-European network. In particular, COST Action Payments for Ecosystem Services (Forests for Water) has the general objective of combining theoretical and practical knowledge of forest, agricultural, water and financial sectors to improve the design and effectiveness of PES connecting forests and water services, as a means to address the problem of water pollution.
