4 Good Practices from LIFE RISORGIVE project included in the EU RiverWiki database
The RiverWiki is an interactive database for sharing river restoration knowledge. It was one of the key outputs from the EU LIFE+ RESTORE project and is currently maintained by the River Restoration Centre (RRC) on behalf of the European Centre for River Restoration (ECRR). It includes information about successful restoration experiences from all around Europe, and beyond, with the aim to facilitate a shared resource from which we can all learn and develop our skills. Anyone can view the RiverWiki and registered users can upload their projects with information such as objectives, techniques, costs, ecosystem benefits, monitoring results and outcomes.
Thanks to the collaboration with the Interreg WETNET project, 4 restoration interventions implemented within our project have been included as relevant best practices in the RiverWiki database.
