The RiverWiki is an interactive database for sharing river restoration knowledge. It was one of the key outputs from the EU LIFE+ RESTORE project and is currently maintained by the River Restoration Centre (RRC) on behalf of the European Centre for River Restoration (ECRR). It includes information about successful restoration experiences from all around Europe, and beyond, with the aim to facilitate a shared resource from which we can all learn and develop our skills. Anyone can view the RiverWiki and registered users can upload their projects with information such as objectives, techniques, costs, ecosystem benefits, monitoring results and outcomes.
Thanks to the collaboration with the Interreg WETNET project, 4 restoration interventions implemented within our project have been included as relevant best practices in the RiverWiki database.

We are sharing an important initiative of one of our partners, that in collaboration with Regione Veneto started a new project: “Ridiamo un sorriso alla Pianura padana”.
This project will allow to deliver thousands of plants to Veneto residents, through a network of municipalities that decided to take part in the initiative.
Veneto Agricoltura was responsible for plants production (trees and shrubs) and for sending them to the municipalities. Each interested municipality collected applications from citizens through a web platform and was responsible for local distribution.
This initiative has been very successful, with a final amount of 70.000 plants distributed.
On September 29 during the final event of Life Risorgive project in the framework of at the Agricultural Festival in Bressanvido, the new cycling and walking paths realized within the project have been officially presented.
Printed copies of the path maps, with all the informations about the places of interest in Bressanvido, were distributed to event participants.
Along all the paths there are signal panels that shows road informations and through QR codes, linked to project website, additional informations and multimedia contents can be found.
