TWIN PROJECTS: LIFE RISORGIVE at “IV° LIFE AQUALIFE NATIONAL WORKSHOP”
Life Risorgive partnership representatives, participated to the IV LIFE AQUALIFE National Workshop organized in Rome April 20th, within the EU funded Life Aqualife project. The project aims to develop an innovative and user-friendly indicator system to assess the biodiversity of groundwater dependent ecosystems (GDEs).
After an initial presentation of the Aqualife project, the workshop focused on biological aspects, policies and safeguard of groundwater dependent ecosystems. In addition, biological evaluation for GDE preservation and quality has been discussed, as well as method and techniques data collection.
Relevant speakers brought their contribution the workshop, such as: Marco Petitta (Rome University La Sapienza), Monica Di Francesco (Ente Parco Nazionale del Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga), Alessia Di Ciocco (L’Aquila University), Simone Fattorini (L’Aquila University), Matteo Mammone (L’Aquila University).
